Naveed Rashid, President
Yale Law 2011
Naveed graduated from the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Political Science and History. He is currently a 2L at Yale. He is the Managing Editor of the Yale Human Rights and Development Law Journal. He likes law school- but enjoys watching college football more.
Dania Ayoubi, Vice-President
Georgetown Law 2010
Dania Ayoubi graduated from Georgetown University with a double major in Government and Arabic language. She is currently a third year law student at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Dania is a native of Indianapolis, and former Vice-President (US) of MSA National.
Wajiha Rizvi, Secretary
Texas Law 2011
Wajiha Rizvi is a 2L at the University of Texas. She is a staff editor for the Texas International Law Journal and a 1L mentor for the Asian Law Students Association. Wajiha is interested in state and federal regulatory law as well as national security law.
Bilal Choksi, Director of Fundraising
Penn Law 2012
Bilal is a 1L at Penn Law. He is from Toronto. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Wharton School at Penn and obtained a B.Sc. in Economics with majors in Management, Finance and a minor in Modern Middle Eastern Studies. He is interested in business law and law and economics. He hopes to leverage his legal education in an entrepreneurial environment in the future. He hopes to use his education in a social engineering setting for several non-profit projects that he is currently working on.
Zahra Elkassabgi, Treasurer

Zahra grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. Zahra is at the University of Texas School of Law. Zahra is specializing in Patent Law. Her best part about law school--meeting lots of diverse and interesting people.
Merium Malik, Director of Communications
North Carolina Central University Law 2010
Merium is a 4L, a joint JD/MBA student. She graduates this year, and she would like to work for the federal government upon graduation. However, she is also interested in working as an in-house counsel. She currently does international contracts for an international software company: Red Hat. With all that being said, she would like to eventually travel the world as an international human rights lawyer. She is not limited to her interests and always keeps an open mind to all possibilities that come her way.
